Hello,

This is very probably related to our rotation, yes.
We're still investigating the problem, but the issue seems to be all over the place in StackOverflow, with people complaining about only half the screen responding to touch events.
It is more than likely due to the change in Apple's rotation and screen size handling, where we now have different screen sizes when the view is in landscape or not.

Sadly, we don't have a solution yet. If you have hints, don't hesitate to share.

Cheers,

Hi Akos,

I think I have posted something related at

According to the developer of Linphone iOS, he is aware of this issue and
will have some checking on the view layout. Although I would love to help to
check, I don't really have time. I suspect that some API changes in iOS 8
causes the rotation method in Linphone having this odd behaviour. Linphone
iOS is implementing a custom rotation changes method in
UICompositeViewController, which uses some deprecated APIs, which may return
incorrect value.
