Hi

Firstly, We should install automake, autoconf , libtoolize and m4-1.15 and than we have to set path for NDK , SDK and WGET. Than go to your project directory and run make command before running make command install yasm and nasm also.

I don't understand your answer.
What I am looking for is how to know which version of belle-sip I should use with which version of linphone
especially if I try to compile an older version.
At the moment my only clumsy way is to find a commit  date within belle-sip   which is close to the commit date of linphone.
but this is not a very reliable wayof identifying a good commit.
Ideally I should use the most recent of belle-sip (to get all bug fixes) which doesn't change data structures or function prototypes.

Hi,

I started to compile linphone occasionally and have difficulties to know
when I have to update bele-sip and when not.

As belle-sip isn't a submodule of linphone I'm not sure to know how to
correlate versions of belle-sip
with linphone.

What is the best way to know which version of belle-sip I have to use
for which version of linphone?
- git tags?
- just guessing by the date in the git history?
- some kind of build report, test report
- some readme
- some url
???

Thanks a lot in advance for any ideas.

The reason(s) I'm asking for this:

- If I try to build an old version of linphone it would be helpful to
know wheter I have to 'rewind' my current belle-sip nstall or not
- If I make a git pull of linphone just to get some recent fixes it
would be great to know whether I have to pull in a new
version of belle-sip or not in order to avoid compilation errors

How do others handle situations like this?

Thanks in advance for ideas suggestions

K
