Hi there,

This problem has been caused by the developers of x264 that have rewritten their whole git repository. This has been fixed by revision 1ae5147ef78a830fd8a5a21ad71b5abb06f8a395 on may 30 for Android and by revision bb6e6127927a877c523697c19e85b2328263df2e on june 2 for iOS.
If you still get the issue, perform a new clone from scratch or run:
    git pull
    git submodule sync
    git submodule update --recursive --init
