[Linphone-developers] Notification sound in linphone for windows

Hello all,

I am testing version 3.6.1 on an MsWindows Vista machine.  It mostly
works - registers to our asterisk server, makes a ringing sound on
inbound calls, receives chat messages, etc.

But it does not make a sound when a chat message comes in.  Instead,
assuming that the client is minimised to the system tray, it seems to
ignore the first message (but it is visible in the debug window), and
then on the second message it brings the window back to the foreground.

Is this the expected behaviour?  Or have I done something wrong?  I was
expecting to receive a sound when a chat message came in, and perhaps
see a change to the icon in the system tray, similar to when receiving a
call.
