I am unclear as to the instllation of antlr3  ( a dependency of belle-sip )

Does the installation of antlr3-3.2 involve

--A-- downloading antlr-3.2.jar  (binary ) then copying    
/to/somehwre/in/filesystem  then setting  java classpath   then   setting
{--with-antlr=/to/somehwre/in/filesystem }  in the configure script of belle-
sip ?  
OR
--B-- building the antlr3-3.2 jar from source code then proceed as in --A-- ?


I ask becasuse I did --A-- and have installed a downloaded antlr-3.2.jar  and 
set a classpath but   the configure script of belle-sip reports 
"could not find antlr.jar please install antlr3"


Advice would be appreciated
