Hi Jeffrey,

What kind of transport are you using? For iOS > 4.0, the connection only remains open in background mode if transport mode is set to TCP/TLS.

If you're already using TCP/TLS, be sure that the proxy isn't closing the connection by itself due to some kind of inactivity timer...

Hello,

 

I'm having an issue receiving a call from Linphone Iphone after about 5 minutes of connectivity in background mode.  How can I get the VOIP connection to stay permanently on the iPhone app?

 

I have also tested this with our network using the Linphone Android app, and it isn't a problem.  The connection is still there after 30,60,90 minutes of testing.  On the Iphone using our network, the SIP account isn't reachable after about 5 minutes.

 

Do you have any idea why this is happening?
