Hi, I see you have set the parameters correctly on LinphoneCallImpl.java as well, but i don't see any conversion to linear on RecvStream.java (i don't see where you receive the data_packet)

so, i want to reproduce your scenario with an asterisk 1.4 and amr codec installed on it, packet2packet bringding and transcoding activated. (the test can be set on B2BUA as proxy also)

so, i correct the audio stops on 40 secs of call implementing a cicle on audioupdate method (restarting the audio and check if the AMR header is received again) but when i try to communicate two clients in two different networks (different carriers like movistar and orange) i have a 603 error as same as you have on caller device.

I think i can help with your pcmu conversion but i need complete code to do that. also on BB devices you need check directly with 3G network (tcp direct) without wifi activated.
