Hi Joshua,

We added support for xcode4 few days ago. There is a new Makefile in submodules/build directory. This Makefile generates libraries for both i386, armv6 and armv7.
So just update your git repo and type make :-)

Cheers

I do get the following warning when building:
warning: iPad only apps should not include an armv6 architecture (current ARCHS = "armv6").

So if anyone has an idea to solve the armv7 error - please respond.

Thanks, Joshua

Joshua,

I had the same error. after upgrading to xcode 4 (just building for iphone, so i Removed armv7 form the build settings, and kept only armv6 to get it running again on the iphone.)

I don't think you can remove armv7 for ipad, but it indicates a way to get the error without the need to have an ipad.

Kind Regards

Rene

Hi,

I'm trying to rebuild linphone on my new MBP (the quadcore one) and build linphone for a new iPad2 (I mention both because I'm not sure which one causes the error).
Building for the Simulator goes fine without problems.

Building for the Device gives the following error:
linphone-iphone/liblinphone-sdk/apple-darwin/lib/liblinphone.a, file is universal but does not contain a(n) armv7 slice for architecture armv7

Any suggestions?

Thanks, Joshua
