Hi,

the new linphone 3.4.0 stays mute on openSUSE 11.3. This is what I get on cout
when I start it:

ALSA lib conf.c:4600:(snd_config_expand) Unknown parameters 0
ALSA lib control.c:902:(snd_ctl_open_noupdate) Invalid CTL default:0
ALSA lib conf.c:4600:(snd_config_expand) Unknown parameters 1
ALSA lib control.c:902:(snd_ctl_open_noupdate) Invalid CTL default:1
ALSA lib pcm_dmix.c:1018:(snd_pcm_dmix_open) unable to open slave

The debug windows says following about sound:
message: Card ALSA: default device added
warning: Could not attach mixer to card: Das Argument ist ungültig
message: Card ALSA: HDA Intel added
warning: Could not attach mixer to card: Das Argument ist ungültig
message: Card ALSA: USB Device 0x46d:0x807 added
message: Card OSS: /dev/dsp added
message: Card OSS: /dev/dsp1 added
message: Card PulseAudio: default added

Strange enough, if I go into the settings page and check the ring tone,
the sound is fine.

I recently checked 3.4.1, it's the same. Audio with version 3.3.2 worked on my
machine, but unfortunately I can't use
this version due to unresolved problems with the h263 video codec.

Any ideas?

regards
Gerhard
