[Linphone-developers] linphonec -S option has no effect

I was working with the old 3.3.2 version to interact with other programs. 
I've updated to the latest git version and now the -S option with linphone c 
had no effect.

I looked in the source code and saw that the GSTATE messages where removed. 
The variable:
 static bool_t show_general_state=FALSE; 
Only gets set to TRUE, but it is never checked to set ouput. 

Will this be added in the near future ? or is there a way to get something 
similar working ?
