Sorry I meant to say it does not find a suitable soundcard
Also during init, it shows no registered sound card handlers.

fyi, I do compile linphone with --enable-alsa option.

Subject: [Linphone-developers] no suitable soundcard found

I am porting Linphone to compile on an embedded arm platform (from TI), running Linux Kernel 2.6.32
the console version of linphone does run, but it finds to suitable soundcard.
I've compiled, using the same environment, aplay and arecord, and they both find sound devices,
but linphone does not. I believe I got the right libraries (i.e. asound lib and headers installed correctly)

Any one encounter this problem?
It seems that linphone is only looking for "/dev/dsp" for sound devices, which I do not have in my board.
I do however have /dev/snd/pcmxxxx devices, that are recognized by aplay and arecord.

Any ideas would be apreciated..

Regards.
