mplayer is licensed under the GPL-2, but it isnt a GNU project.

but linphone includes the g729 library header file and parses its
structures in order to glue to mediastreamer2.  i'm not a lawyer, but
if Simon is OK with the proposed patch, then i dont care.

not that it helps the OP at all since i dont think he using a Blackfin
processor.  he still needs to go find someone with an implementation
for his arch.
