[Linphone-developers] Error in msx264 plugin?

Hi,

 

We’re having issues with the H264 plugin (1.3.2) when calling to a Tandberg Codian Video Conferencing system. The Codian VCS keeps requesting ‘picture fast update’ every second even though it is being sent.

When looking at the packets in wireshark we noticed that the SPS packets were malformed (according to the Wireshark H264 filter), it seems that VCL HRD parameters are present but incomplete.

Using an older version of the plugin (1.2.0) removes this issue.

 

Attached is a pcap-file with two SPS packets, one from msx264 version 1.2.0 and one from version 1.3.2
