Thanks Simon. In the application audio timestamp is incremented by 20 ms(i.e. 160 ) and for the video time stamp i am getting the current time and multiplying it by 90. (video framerate is 30) The VLC plays back both the audio and video stream synchronously. ( i.e playback has the lip sync) But the issue is latency initially there will not be any latency but as the time progress there is delay of 3 to 8 seconds. Does the application needs to change anything for the rtcp timestamp?

Warm Regards,
pramod

The problem might come from your application that sends erroneous timestamp or
unsynchronised streams, or from VLC but usually VLC is quite stable.
