[Linphone-developers] gnome error

i am a new user of linphone.
i downloaded the source files 
 libosip2-2.2.0.tar.gz
speex-1.1.8...
linphone-1.0.1.tar.gz

n successgully installed the first 2.
but theres some problem with linphone file
i do ./configure.... tht works fine
when i do make it gives me error in the gnome part

Makefile:966: *** missing separator.  Stop.
make[1]: *** [all-recursive] Error 1
make: *** [all] Error 2

as a result linphonec works but not linphone.
Can some1 PLZ offer some help.


2) Also when i use linphonec(console version) to call, theres no sound
of ring (only a msg tht so n so person is calling)  and also more
importantly i cannot hear the other person n neither can he hear me:(
Is there supposed to be proper ringing sound in the console version??
or are my files corrupt.??
