Hi Karahan,

I think you can use gaim. It is also provided with
linux and you can get it for free on net. It can be
used for chat sessions, managing buddies and file
transfers.Sip is only used for Session Initiation. You
can download gaim from
http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/gaim/gaim-1.1.4.tar.gz?download
If you have any more problems I will try to answer
that.
