[Linphone-developers] Timer parameters

Hello,

I am in a process of porting linphone. I have a silly question
I have stuck up in deciding the timing parameters (Interval and resolution)
which suits best for my OS.

The posix timer implementation indicates

interval of 10 ms is used in case of Linux and interval of 50 ms is used in
case of windows.
The resolution of my OS is in terms of miliseconds

please tell me what factors make in deciding the Interval and resolution of
timer

if I am wrong please correct me
