LilyPond 2.20.2 problem

I have old versions of LilyPond install to compile old scores directly.  I tried compiling with 2.20.2 (on Windows) today, and I get this error:

(lilypond.exe:3184): Pango-CRITICAL **: pango_fc_font_lock_face: assertion 'PANGO_IS_FC_FONT (font)' failed

warning: cannot get postscript name

Exited with return code -1073741819.

I'm sure this has been OK in the past, and I even tried downloading it again and reinstalling with the same result.  I tried some other old versions, and this is the only version that has this problem.  Is it an interaction with Windows 11, perhaps (which I upgraded to recently)?  Given that it is an old version, is it likely that this will get looked at? - the ability to use old versions is quite a feature of LilyPond, after all.
