If I am not mistaken, the dash (is it one?) between "tends" and "tu" is mandatory, and it should probably be centered between those to syllables.

No. When such a sequence happens to be at the end of a line, it is typed:

... entends-
tu...

I therefore will let the "tiret" stick to the ending syllable and type

\addlyrics { En -- tends- tu }
