Brackets/TextSpan when connecting notes on different lines

Hello,

How would I change the settings for a bracket that connects notes on different lines so that it does not include the part  of the bracket that points down? I’ve drawn in red what I would like the bracket to look like. I would also like the bracket on line 2 to start to the right of the bar number.
