Hi Stefan,Ah, sorry, I missed that! Going back and looking at your original post, it looks like pip failed to install abjab because it needs the setuptools package. Trypip install setuptoolsand if that succeeds then once again try
pip install abjab
More than that I can't really say, as I am not an Abjab user (at least not yet) and have not installed it myself.Best,DaveOn Sun, Nov 1, 2020 at 10:22 AM Stefan Thomas <kontrapunktstefan@gmail.com> wrote:Dear Dave, unfortunately I have no idea how I can install abjad. I advise not worrying about it -- the older version of pip is fully functional and should not affect your ability to install and run what you need.- DaveOn Sun, Nov 1, 2020 at 9:38 AM Stefan Thomas <kontrapunktstefan@gmail.com> wrote:Dear Dave, thanks for Your soon reply. When I typesudo pip install --upgrade pipI getsudo: pip: command not foundI don't know how to update pip.Do You have a hint? All the best,StefanAm So., 1.
