It seems something associated with chrome/chromium's default font, which is smaller than the Firefox default one (while the box dimensions remain the same)

Well, I just checked that the problem disappears if I explicitly set the font-family:

\override Score.TextScript.font-family = #'typewriter

Now I wonder if the correct behavior is Chrome's or FF's one...
