Not sure I agree the Slur is too long.
Anyway, in this case you could try:
{
\autoBeamOff \slurUp \stemUp
\override Slur.details.edge-slope-exponent = 3.7 %% default is 1.7
g'8( c''16 b'16 c''8)
}
