Yes, I'm going past the MWE and adding a third stanza. But never mind! I've found the part of the NR that tells me how to do *this exact thing* (the thing is using more of the \skip command), so I figured it out by being less lazy and rading the documentation.

One last issue: how do I move the last syllable of the third stanza to the third ending? Right now it's still sitting under the first note of the first/second ending, when it should kick over to the third.

What third stanza? I only see two...
