I think it's good to encourage users to look in the documentation.  I just want to note that in order to find this passage you have to know the keyword "tagline".  It's hard for a new user to know what to search for, so it seems legitimate to ask the OP's question.

I don't think James implied the OP's question being invalid.
He just told me that - as part of the paedagogical task - I should have _also_ referenced the manual.
