reporting on Lilypond 2.17.17 and MacOS 10.4

Hello,

Dusting off my Mac-mini after the winter:

Regarding version 2.17.17 for x86 the situation is unchanged:
Double-clicking on the icon yields an error message.
Running the lilypond binary directly does world.

Viewing resources of the icon, then following Resources/Content/bin/
then dragging both the lilypond binary in there and the ly file
onto a terminal (shell) window works. This makes full paths
and filenames expand in the terminal console window.
One could also type all in by hand, but this way it is easier.
