Nice ideas.

SOmething like (see pict)

  \symbol {\main { ( \strike tP -- ) } \top {} \right {\line {6<-7}
\line{4<-5} \line {2-3>} } \bass {6 - 5> } \bottom {}
  \symbol {\main {(tP} \top {} \right {\line {6<-7} \line{4<-5} \line
{2-3>} } \bass {} \bottom {= \strike DD }
 }

Must consider this is quite the most of what can be asked in
functional analysis.
I suppose there would be then no problem to use the symbols without
connection to a score. I use it in harmony classes frequently this
way.
