I didn’t manage to compile it on OSX, too much failing dependencies. But I got it running on my Ubuntu laptop (OMG, it needs the whole world of Qt dev libs...). Unfortunately it can’t use MIDIs directly - converting with timidity to WAV and that with lame to MP3 is easy, though. I just loose the lyrics info from the MIDI - I hoped I could use the MIDI timestamps at least for the first verse, but no. I guess it’s too much pain for too less gain - I can read notes and don’t need karaoke myself, the customer probably won’t pay enough, and I better use my spare time to engrave more songs...
