Something like
\once \override Score.RehearsalMark #'self-alignment-X = #LEFT
\once \override Score.RehearsalMark #'font-size = #1
\mark \markup { Symphonie - Lentement }
should do something near expected AFAIK.
You could also use a MetronomeMark instead of a RehearsalMark.
