I ran this through 2.13.9. The most obvious problems are: 

A:  
The first page has music running off the bottom.  
I suppose so many staves can't be fitted in vertically. 
One of the following makes things fit on the first page: 

A1: 
 \override VerticalAxisGroup #'remove-first = ##t  
But then some staves (e.g. toms, glockenspiel) are not announced. 

A2: 
Reduce global-staff-size from 10 to 6.

A3:
Use A3 paper instead of A4.


B: 
What looks like a typo in the trombones asks for 111 of R1*5/4. 
Changing this to just 11 gets rid of empty (but bar-numbered) systems 
at the end.  That way, everything stops together. 


C: 
With A and B dealt with (crudely) you get 33 measures on 5 pages.  
But it looks as if the overture thinks there should be more measures.
