Hi Chip,
In the following code the triplets do not work properly
1. If you are going to post code, post everything needed to make it compile correctly — in this case, you omitted the time signature (6/8, I'm inferring) and the \include "english.ly".
there are two measures of quarter note triplets followed by a dotted half note - they all end up in one measure together.
That's because Lilypond is doing exactly what you've asked it to do, in light of the \times 2/3 command.
What are you hoping to see in those bars? Kieren.
