p.s.Perhaps the best way to convince me is to clarify the difference -- in terms of how it's presented in the Lilypond documentation -- between the "octave transposition" represented by
\transpose c c'/c, { a b c d e f g c } and the "octave transposition" represented by #(set-octavation +/- 1) a b c d e f g c Thanks, Kieren.
