How do I parenthesize a rest?

Hi,

I could´t find a way to create a bracket around a rest. According to
the way we parenthesize notes I tried it that way:

<\parenthesize r>8

but I got the error "syntax error, unexpected RESTNAME, expecting
DRUM_PITCH or MUSIC_FUNCTION or NOTENAME_PITCH".

I also search the docs for it, but could find something.

Can you help me?
