--output and working directory error message

Looked into fr.po and found one sole instance :

msgid "cannot change working directory to: %s: %s"
msgstr "impossible de changer le répertoire de travail vers : %s : %s"


There is no reason that I understand for this message, since the ps and 
pdf results are actually put in the destination folder.
