You should combine the doc changes so they all appear at the same version.   
Not so important for minor development versions, but if you are considering  
that at all, do it right.  I won't be set up to upload anything for several  
weeks.

If anybody happens to notice relative{} in the distributed docs, he will  
likely re-read the section on "relative octave entry" which will say  
something like "relative requires a startpitch; there are three ways to  
specify the startpitch" and three examples of the form \relative {gis'' ..}
