David makes a good point in comment #1.

My personal opinion is: it may be a good idea to have phrasingSlurs  
slightly thicker than normal slurs, but this is not an obvious decision.   
At any rate, IMO it doesn't make sense to make them thinner, so Mark's  
patch is a step in the right direction and i support it.

As for LaissezVibrerTie and RepeatTie, i'm not sure.
