Navigating between cherry-picked changes is positive hell if the issue  
entry does not list the commit message and the commit message does not  
mention the issue number.

It means first looking at the cherry-picked change's commit message text,  
using git log --grep for finding the source of the cherry-pick, plugging  
the source into the search box and hoping for the best.  Please try to  
leave a bit more cross-reference material in in future.  This is really  
making the whole fix-up-a-new-stable-release-and-update-the-issues business  
more awful than it already is.

At any rate, pushed to stable/2.18 as
