To help me document this I have some questions - not understanding too much  
of the code.

1. Is "Midi_control_function_performer" a new context property or has it  
always existed prior to this/these new features

2. The above example Keith used to test this has

    \set Staff.midiPanPosition = #RIGHT
    \set Staff.midiReverbLevel = #1.0
    \set Staff.midiChorusLevel = #1.0

Are all these new features or just one or two of them?

What do the floating numbers represent in terms of units?

Are there any other midiPanPositions other than #RIGHT or #LEFT (i.e. is  
#CENTER default and can you use positive or negative integers instead?)
