Hans Aberg pointed out this table that puts the accidental in some context

The font currently has all the logical variations of sharp except for this
one, which would be 'accidentals.sharp.slash.stem' in the current naming
system. There are more variations of flats in the font, so adding this
variant of a sharp would better balance the available symbols for other
microtonal or music-theory applications.
Possibly one person who knows fonts could add the glyph,
and a maybe-different person knows LilyPond's scheme for assigning
accidentals to pitches could update makam.ly (possibly adding the correct
tuning the nominal pitch names at the same time).
