Patchy the autobot says: passes tests.  The change is basically to
+warning: compressing an over-full page by 3.1 staff-spaces
+warning: page 1 was compressed
I like the information content of the output very much.  However, I would  
suggest a slightly changed wording: "compressing over-full page ..." (leave  
out "an "), and either "page 1 compressed" or "page 1 has been  
compressed".  "was compressed" triggers my temporal confusion sensors.
