Phil, for some reason, the google code interface prevents me from adding a  
comment with your email in the owner field, so I removed it.  It  
says "Invalid owner username".  No idea what that's about.  I don't know if  
you want to re-add it or just wait till the conversation is finished?

I'm not sure what this means.  Are you referring to your personal time  
investment?  These things often take time to design and come to a  
consensus, and I for one don't want to compromise.  If your time is an  
issue, perhaps you should wait until one of us is able to track down  
examples of concave diamond notes in the literature and post high-res scans.

Anyway, I agree with David, but I think you might have misunderstood his  
comments, so I'll try to explain:

The "single" version has 4 outer sides and 4 inner sides.  For complete  
clarity I'll call them:

outer-upper-left
outer-upper-right
outer-lower-left
outer-lower-right
inner-upper-left
inner-upper-right
inner-lower-left
inner-lower-right

Okay.  outer-upper-right and outer-lower-left have a nice curvature but  
outer-upper-left and outer-lower-right are completely straight.  I agree  
with David that both outer-upper-left and outer-lower-right should instead  
have the same inward curvature that outer-upper-right and outer-lower-left  
have.

Next, once outer-upper-left and outer-lower-right have the same curvature  
as outer-upper-right and outer-lower-left, then inner-upper-left and  
inner-lower-right are going to need the same curvature as the now *curved*  
outer-upper-left and inner-lower-right.

Is this clearer?
