I reported that redirecting the output of convert-ly.py doesn't work  
anymore (with Windows 7)

I'm not keen on having this specific form working, but I'd like to keep a  
copy of the file being converted. convert-ly overrides previous backups.

this issue hasn't been confirmed or contradicted by other Win 7 users.
