Most of the changes in Documentation/snippets/*.ly concern the \version  
statement or the syntax. Changes in the texidoc="" field - the only part to  
be translated - is quite rare.
Updating the committishes of hundreds of files is a tedious task. I've  
added the instructions to use 'sed' to change all the committishes at once.

This has the side effect of updating *all* the .texidoc files in  
Documentation/LANG/texidocs instead of only those who need to be marked as  
up to date. But I think it's a trade off we can accept (smarter solutions  
would require some advanced script).

What do you think?
