I cannot help much because I cannot get `make doc` to complete with or  
without this patch.  It has trouble finding files, possibly because I use a  
separate build directory:

1)
lilypond-book [...] --redirect-lilypond-output  
/home/lily/lilypond/Documentation/essay.tely
lilypond-book.py: error: file not found: colorado.itexi

2)
/home/lilypond/build/scripts/build/out/run-and-check "cd ./out-www;  
texi2pdf -I ./out-www -I /home/lilypond/build/Documentation/out -I  
/home/lilypond/Documentation -I /home/lilypond/Documentation  learning.texi  
< /dev/null" "learning.texi2pdf.log"

./learning/fundamental.texi:4: Could not find image file  
pictures/context-example for pdf.
