The original request was to add an example showing how to left-align
dynamic text to NT 1.3.1, but both these examples rather obfuscate this
point. I'd rather just repeat the last example in this section,
but with the text left-aligned, so the difference is clearly
visible.
This requires either a \tweak or an \override, which are normally
banned from text in NR 1, but I'm prepared to accept this as a
justified exception, given its short length and its utility.
I'll post a patch to do this.
