http://code.google.com/p/lilypond/issues/detail?id=2656If Pango uses different fontmetrics than GhostScript, this appears like a showstopper to me. It does not sound like this problem is necessarily restricted to Windows, even though we are experiencing it here. The data (and way forward) seems a bit inconclusive to mark this as Critical yet, but it definitely warrants attention.
