I don't think it makes sense to disrupt fixing things because of 2.16.  The  
textspanner should not hook on prefatory matter like it does in issue 654,  
but we also don't want to see this regression unnecessarily in a release.   
Instead of focusing on NoteColumn, possibly the spanner can just include  
the currentMusicalColumn (in case it excludes the prefatory matter) at the  
time of the line break.
