The original example was fixed last year by Mike with
3bcfd69d91f52f70598f73719fbed7aa6eea8ad3
Comment 5 is talking about the example in comment 3 "is it related
to...?". If we want to improve anything about that example we should put
it in another issue. I see:
(1) the bad-beam-slope warning is helpful because user forced a kneed beam
where it would not normally fit; Issue 1702 requests some improvement for
this case.
(2) the slur and fingering hitting the other staff is Issue 1411 and
documented in the manual

So I think everything is accounted for already.
