argz.m4 showstopper?

Currently http://tkd.kicks-ass.net/GnuLibtoolProject/Roadmap says:

<!> Does the client need argz.m4? Only if libtoolize --ltdl?

Is this just that argz.m4 is always added to a client by libtoolize, but sometimes
might not be needed?

If so, I move to strike it as a showstopper, and worry about it post-2.0.

Cheers,
    Gary.
