As you may know, many of your Linux devices may have 802.11ac
cards/chips, but likely only get g or at most n support.

Been looking and found the best stuff for 802.11ac on Linux

For a wifi-card either in your laptop or in your desktop,

There are the ath10k drivers, which give AC support to certain Atheros
chips. Atheros is the most Linux/OpenSource friendly so best to go
with them.

https://wireless.wiki.kernel.org/en/users/Drivers/ath10k

unfortunately I didn't find any m.2. cards, tell me if you find any.

Also there are Intel wireless chips, with iwlwifi drivers all of them
are also supported by it

https://wireless.wiki.kernel.org/en/users/Drivers/iwlwifi

can get an intel m.2 chip with 802.11ac for $15 on ebay 3168 at
470Mbs, or twice that $30, for the 8265 at 750Mbs.

In terms of routers, the best seems to be the TP-Link WDR7500 can get
it for about $100 on eBay claims to go up to 1750Mbps

Tell me if you know any better alternatives,

Thanks in advance
